Weddings at The Barn



Built in 1885 and shaped as an octagon with eight equal sides, this unique venue overlooks 50 sprawling acres and our flower fields. The Barn is an authentic piece of history that exudes rustic charm without sacrificing any of the modern day amenities.

Ceremony Space – choose from five stunning ceremony locations: the attached octagonal gazebo, the lower level patio, the pond, the pine trees, or the flower field 


Cocktail Hour Space – located on the lower level of The Barn, this rustic space features a large bar, cocktail tables, wall length sliding barn doors leading to a wrap around patio, and string lighting  


Reception Space – located on the main level of The Barn, this space features stunning 55-foot ceilings, chandeliers, a beautiful curved staircase and massive double doors that open to the attached covered gazebo


Loft – charming space overlooking the main dining area that can be used for DJ setup, photo booth area, lounge space or additional guest seating for dinner


Large Attached Gazebo – covered, outdoor area located just beyond the main dining level that can be used for ceremonies, additional guest seating or dancing beneath the string lights


Lower Patio with Fire Features – spacious stamped concrete patio with cocktail tables, concrete gas fire features and lots of comfortable seating


Bar Area – large bar located on the lower level, featuring a commercial ice machine, sinks, and refrigerators


Catering Kitchen – a private space for your caterers, featuring a warming cabinet, sinks, microwave and commercial refrigeration


Restrooms – four restrooms (two restrooms on the lower level and two restrooms on the main level) 


Mounted Smart TVs – multiple TVs mounted throughout the space for displaying videos and picture slideshows


Stereo System – stereo system with mounted speakers


WiFi – high speed WiFi throughout the space


Climate Assistance – Reznor heaters and evaporative cooling systems to help heat and cool the space 




The Bridal Suite – This spacious and elegant suite is a bride’s dream! A sophisticated space for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready for The Big Day, this light and airy studio features five individual styling stations with tons of natural light, ample counter space and outlets, a kitchenette, lounge area, and private dressing rooms. 


The Cowboy Suite – This spacious and stylish “man cave” was designed for the groom and groomsmen to get ready for The Big Day. Featuring a virtual golf simulator, lounge area with 72 inch TV, kitchenette, custom bar, and private dressing rooms, this suite offers a truly unforgettable experience for the guys! 


The Honeymoon Suite – After the wedding, couples can sneak away to spend their first night together in our newly built luxury suite. Located just steps from The Barn, this romantic, spa-like couple’s suite features a massive walk-in shower with rain heads and soaking tub, indoor fireplace, king bed, and a private walkout patio with hot tub and fire pit. It’s the perfect end to the perfect day with your new spouse!


Wedding Decor – You won’t believe your eyes when you step into our Decor Barn! Our curated decor inventory features thousands of unique decor pieces, including a huge collection of centerpieces, runners, faux greenery, faux flowers, lanterns, votives, candles, table numbers, signage, easels, card boxes, dessert displays, chargers, boxwood walls, photo backdrops, ceremony arches and MUCH MORE in a wide variety of colors and styles. This collection is something you have to see to believe! 


Decorating Consultation – You’ll meet with our decorating specialist to carefully plan the aesthetic for your Big Day. Our decorating specialist will walk you through all the components of ceremony and reception decorating, while utilizing a collaborative approach to help you choose the decor pieces that compliment your unique style. Shortly after the consultation, you will receive your individualized and detailed Decor Plan. Then, just sit back and relax as we take it from there! 


Decor Set Up – Prior to your Wedding Day, our talented decorating team will decorate the venue top to bottom according to your personalized Decor Plan. Everything will be set up when you arrive on the morning of your wedding, allowing you to focus on the things that truly matter – spending time with the ones you love. 


Fresh Florals – Is there anything more charming than walking down the aisle holding a bouquet of locally sourced flowers grown just steps from The Barn? August through mid-October, our couples and their wedding parties are able to create their own bridal bouquets and centerpieces using the flowers grown on our Flower Farm. Some couples also use our flowers as wedding favors – guests can build their own bouquet to take home with them after the wedding! We grow many different varieties, including sunflowers, wildflowers, zinnias, dahlias, and much more.


Ceremony Seating – Our rustic eight-foot benches are handcrafted from century-old barnwood and are the perfect compliment to the charming and rustic style of The Barn. Our staff will set these up for your ceremony in your choice of one of our five on-site ceremony locations. 


Ceremony Arches – Couples can choose between a variety of popular ceremony backdrops – wooden hexagon, wooden triangles, wooden cross, gold circle or trio of arched boho backdrops. Use just one at the ceremony space or add another behind the head table! We’ll set these up and decorate these for you, according to your personalized Decor Plan! 


Farm Tables and/or Round Tables – Choose between either handcrafted wooden farm tables or traditional round banquet tables for dinner. Couples can also choose to mix and match both types of tables for a truly unique look! Each and every layout is custom-designed for the couple’s style and specific needs. We work with you during the Decor Consultation to determine the best setup and flow for the evening. 


Reception Seating – Our unique white birch Chiavari chairs have been individually hand distressed to add to the country charm of the space. Your chairs will be set up at your tables according to your specific seating chart. 


Venue Attendants – Two experienced 1885 Farms staff members will be on site throughout your event – from pre-ceremony arrivals through the end of the reception. Venue attendants aim to help the venue function optimally and are available to help direct guests to the various spaces at the appropriate times and manage ongoing cleanup during the evening. 


Bartender – We contract with a team of professional and experienced bartenders who are dedicated to providing top-notch bar service! You just provide the alcohol and mixers you’d like them to serve throughout the evening and we arrange the rest. 


Security Officer – For weddings where alcohol will be served, we include a professional security officer who will be present during the last four hours of the reception to ensure a safe experience for all your guests.


Victorian Sofas – Our collection of antique and Victorian furnishings are timeless additions to your wedding decor. These furnishings are interchangeable and can be set up in a variety of locations for photo props or functional seating. Use them for head table seating, lounge areas for guests, or even pictures in the flower field! Let your creativity go wild and we’ll make it happen!


Photo Backdrops – Choose between one of a kind photo props for the Big Day, including our signature 1953 red Chevy pickup, five foot tall LOVE marquee letters, boxwood and flower walls, and more! We’ll set them up wherever you’d like! 


Yard Games – Get the party started with lots of fun activities to entertain guests during cocktail hour and throughout the evening, including cornhole boards, a giant wedding themed crossword puzzle, giant Jenga, giant Connect Four, and Yard-Zee! 


Engagement Photos – All of our couples will receive complimentary use of The Barn and flower fields during a scheduled day and time of their choice prior to the wedding to take engagement photos.


Rehearsal – All weddings include a rehearsal day and time to practice for the ceremony at The Barn during the week leading up to the Big Day. 




Your Wedding Day goes by fast, which is why we offer the ability for couples to turn their “Wedding Day” into an unforgettable “Wedding Weekend”. 


Saturday weddings in The Barn include two nights in all three of our luxury ON-SITE overnight accommodations for family, friends, and out of town guests. Check in is Friday at 3:00pm and check out is Sunday at 10:00am. Additional nights can be added at additional cost. 


The Barn Estate – This sprawling 8,500 square foot brick estate features eight bedrooms, four full bathrooms, two half bathrooms, fully stocked chef’s kitchen, theater room with massaging recliners, gas fireplaces, jacuzzi tub, and lots of entertaining space. The finished basement is equipped with a large steam room, dedicated fitness room, and impressive game room with skeeball, ping pong, Pop-A-Shot, Pac Man arcade games, black jack table, and more! Outside you’ll enjoy a heated pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen, firepit, stocked fishing pond, walking trails and much more! 


The Original Farmhouse – This charming farmhouse was built in the 1870s and was the original companion homestead for The Barn. Newly updated in 2021, the home features three large bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, a full kitchen, living room, dining space, large porch and backyard. A short walk through the yard and across a wooded trail leads to The Barn Estate. This home is perfect for guests who want to enjoy the festivities at The Barn Estate while also having a private space to retreat to when the day is over. 


The Farmhouse Glamper – This fully remodeled, “Pinterest-worthy” camper is located close to The Barn and is equipped with two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen and living area. The cozy outdoor space features a large hot tub, outdoor TV, dining table, hammocks and fire pit.

We value simplicity and transparency. As such, taxes are already included in the rates and there are absolutely no hidden fees. We do not charge “per person” – events are a flat rate and include everything listed above. 


A $1000 retainer is due upon booking to secure your date. The remaining balance is then split into equal monthly payments leading up to the Wedding Day. Payments are due on the first of each month. 


Couples who pay in full upon booking automatically receive a 5% discount off of the total package rate.
